Look at the picture. What is happening at the bus stop, and what are the children doing?
Look, name, and explain what you see — then add one detail nobody else would notice.

In the picture, a group of primary school pupils in uniform are waiting at a covered bus stop in a housing estate, with their bags still on and a bus approaching in the distance. One of the boys has stood up and is gesturing towards the bench, where an elderly woman with a shopping trolley is settling into the seat he has given up. On the right, a girl is pointing upwards, showing something to the younger pupils beside her. What I also noticed is that nobody has moved towards the kerb even though the bus is coming, so the woman is not being rushed while she sits down.
Sets the scene, picks out the two separate acts of helpfulness rather than only the obvious one, and closes on a detail about restraint — what the children are choosing not to do.

- Point to what you see"In the picture, I can see…" — name two or three specific things, not just one.
- Say what the people are doing"One of them is…, while another…" — describe actions, not only positions.
- Add one closer detail"What I also noticed is…" — this is what lifts a plain answer into a strong one.
