2026 — English
Candidates reported that the 2026 English stimulus pictures were printed in black and white, which surprised many of them. Ours are shown the same way.
2026 — 华文
The Chinese paper used video clips rather than a single stimulus picture. We have rebuilt each one as a three-clip sequence with the story written out.
2025 — English
Two themes were reported after the 2025 oral: an ice cream cart with a long queue, and a busy hawker centre.
2027
Nothing yet — the 2027 oral has not been sat. If your child sits it and remembers what came up, tell us and we will build the drills. Contributors are credited by name.
Questions parents ask
What came up in the PSLE English Oral 2026?
Candidates recalled two stimulus pictures: children playing at a neighbourhood playground on Day 1, and a crowded public bus on Day 2. Many also noted that the pictures were printed in black and white. The papers are not released, so these are recollections rather than a record.
What came up in the PSLE Chinese Oral 2026?
The Chinese paper used video clips rather than a single picture. Day 1 followed a boy who notices a suspicious stranger in his lift and alerts his neighbours, who call the police. Day 2 followed a boy who breaks a flower pot playing football indoors and hides it instead of owning up.
Are these the real examination questions?
No. SEAB does not publish the papers. The themes are what candidates and parents recalled afterwards. Every picture, question and model answer on this site is written by us.
Will the same themes come up again?
Rarely in the same form, but the underlying ideas repeat constantly — graciousness in shared spaces, honesty, alertness, and consideration for the people around us. Practising past themes builds vocabulary that transfers to whatever appears next.
How should we use this page?
Treat each theme as a full ten-minute drill: show the picture or clips for thirty seconds, ask the questions in order, and wait five seconds before helping.
